Lucknow: Residents troubled by daily traffic congestion near Jhulelal Park in the Hasanganj police station area of Lucknow have received much-needed relief. Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Ankit Kumar carried out a strict enforcement drive against vehicles causing traffic jams in the area.
During the operation, action was taken against e-rickshaws, cars, and motorcycles parked improperly on the roads, leading to frequent bottlenecks. ACP Ankit Kumar personally took to the streets to clear the congestion and issued firm instructions to motorists to strictly follow traffic rules.
His proactive intervention is being seen as an effective step toward easing traffic movement and ensuring smooth vehicular flow for the public. Known for his continuous field presence, ACP Kumar ensured that no vehicle was left standing in an uncontrolled manner, thereby reducing daily commuting hardships for local residents.
Local resident Utsav Singh said that traffic congestion had become a serious problem over the past several days, but after ACP Ankit Kumar’s active intervention, traffic conditions have improved significantly, restoring public confidence in the administration.
